Homemade face scrubs for oily skin
Different people have different type of skin. And each skin type has different problems. As if you have oily skin you will be at a risk of occurring pimples and acne. As this skin type catches dirt easily, so such type of skin need to be taken more care for such skin type. So here are some of the natural and homemade face scrubs for those having oily skin, to take care of your skin and remove excess oil from it. If you have dry skin then there are different homemade face scrubs for dry skin.
Oats scrub: these are very much useful for oily skin. The simplest use of oats is with water. You just need to grind oats and make powder of it. Store this powder in a air tight jar. Take the powder and mix it with required amount of water to make a paste. Rub on your face for almost five to six minutes. Then rinse.
The other way of using oats is with banana and milk. You need to mash a ripe banana in a bowl and add a table spoon of milk in it. Add one spoon of oats or as required making a thick consistency paste for scrubbing. Milk is added to avoid over dryness of skin. Use this scrub in the same way as above.
Orange and sugar scrub: Oranges are rich in Vitamin C, because of which it is treated as the best exfoliating agent for skin. To make this scrub, you need to mix three table spoons of orange juice with a cup of sugar. Mix them properly and add two table spoons of olive oil and add one table spoon of honey. This scrub is storable in cool place and in an air tight jar. It is preferable to use it twice a week for better results.
Almond and honey: take a hand full of almonds. Grind them in the mixer to make powder of it. Make sure that they are not over grinded; let it be in granule form not in fine powder form. Mix this almond granule with honey (as required) and use it for scrubbing your skin. This mixture can be store in a glass jar for use in future.
Tomato and sugar scrub: Tomato is surely the best ingredient for oily skin. It is the best scrub as well as helps in curing tanned skin and pigmentation. This is also one of the simplest scrubs which can be made easily. Take the juice of one tomato and add sugar to it as required. Use this to scrub for face and neck with the help of your finger tips. You can also use tomato pulp instead of extracting juice. But prefer to extract juice.
Lemon and sugar: Mix sugar and lemon juice in such a quantity as to make a paste to be applied on face for scrubbing. This is a good option for oily skin people as lemon is helpful in removing excess oil from skin. Besides, if you have olive oil available at your home, it will be a good option to add it to the lemon and sugar mixture for scrubbing.
Sea-salt with egg: carefully separate the egg white from yolk. One egg white will be sufficient. Keep it in a bowl. Add two tea spoons of sea salt and half a teaspoon of lemon juice in it. Mix well the ingredients. Use it as a scrub for your oily skin to make it glowing.
