Taking proper care of the skin is very much important for us. And it becomes a little difficult when we are talking about oily skin. Oily skin brings with it a lot of problems which are quiet difficult to handle. One of the problems is to select the right product as the products available in the market are mainly constituted with chemicals which may lead to acne prone skin. The basic step in the daily care of the skin is cleaning, toning and moisturizing. Below we are discussing some of the easy homemade toner for oily skin to help you in adopting homemade products for your sensitive skin.

Mix one table spoon of lemon juice with one small cup of water. Soak a cotton ball in the solution and apply it onto your face. This solution can be store in a bottle and refrigerated for one to two weeks. Another easy way to use lemon is to directly rub the inner part of lemon peel onto the face and leave it as it is. Remove excess residue with the help of a cotton ball.

Mint leaves/Neem leaves toner: Mint leaves are good for oily skin as it is helpful in controlling sebum. In the same way neem is famous for its anti-bacterial quality which helps in reducing pimples and acne which is a common problem for oily skin. Boil some water in a pan. Add a handful of mint leaves or neem leaves, whichever you prefer. And let the water cool. Don’t boil the leaves only boil the water afterwards add leaves. Store the solution and use it up to one to two weeks if refrigerated. Dab a cotton ball and wipe on face.

Aleovera toner: Aleovera helps in restoring the natural PH balance of skin. It is also useful to solve the problem of tanned skin, pimples and acnes. For making this toner you need to have a fresh leaf of aleovera. Remove the outer green layer of leaf and blend the inner transparent part in the blender until you get the liquid gel like substance. Add equal amount of water in it and apply it as a toner. This is best for those with sensitive skin.

Cold water toner: The cheapest toner that anyone can afford is this one. All you need is water and ice cubes which are all time available at home. You can use ice cubes as toner in three ways. Firstly add 8 to 10 cubes of ice to one mug of water and splash it on your face a you clean the face wash from the face. Secondly, after washing the ace rub an ice cube, wrapped in a clean cotton cloth, onto the face. Lastly add 4 to 5 cubes of ice in half a cup of water. Apply it on face with the help of cotton ball.

Homemade toner for oily skinUse of cucumber: The easy available ingredient cucumber can also be used as a toner. Boil two cups of water and add one chopped cucumber in it. Again boil it for few minutes or until half the water is left. Let it cool and then blend the mixture in blender. If the solution is smooth then use it and if not strain the solution and drain out the pure liquid solution. Keep it in a bottle and apply using a cotton ball.

Rose water toner: Rose water is easily available in the market these days. For this toner you can use ready made rose water or you can make your own rose water with the help of easily available ingredient at home. Add a tablespoon of plain white vinegar in a cup of rose water. Now this is solution which may last up to one month just keep it in cool and dry place.

Rice water toner: Take handful of raw rice. Wash it properly two three times in running water. Keep it in a container and add one cup of water and soak the rice for almost 8 hours. After the water turns milky strain it. Use this milky water as a toner for oily skin.

Green tea toner: There are a lot of benefits of green tea for skin. Tannins present in green tea helps in removing oil, dirt and impurities from face. It is used as a toner for oily skin. Boil one cup of water and add two tea bags of green tea in it. Let the tea bags dipped in water for almost ten minutes. Take away the bags and your toner is ready to use after cooling.

Tips to use toner: Use toner every time after you clean the face with face                                  wash or soap whatever prefer.

Use it twice a day.

It can be applied using a cotton ball or pour the solution in                             a clean spray bottle and spray it on the face.
